Im soo grateful to this app!! It really helps me with my gluten intake and allergys!! Makes healthy grocery shopping a breeze:))

I have Celiacs Disease and a lot of foods I need to know about arent on this app. Its a great app, but it needs to have more foods and drinks in it.

This is a good scanning app that has many (but not all) of the items weve scanned. It seems fast and accurate(hasnt gotten any item wrong). It tracks history but seems to have a bug where it doesnt save it across days or possibly opens. I hear they are working on an export feature which would be a great addition for working with your doctor to identify possible food allergies. (Certainly worth a star if implemented, especially if you can see all their ingredients) The authors have also been quick at adding new items upon using the "add new item feature" built into it. Normally with a day or two theyve added it to their inventory for future scans. (And notified me via email)

I cannot get the scanner to focus in the bar code. Is it the phone? Dont think so

Set up your own profile in seconds, then scan everything in your pantry, cupboards, refrigerator or take it to the market to identify foods containing ingredients that you shouldnt be eating. Easy to use, responsive and well supported. Terrific app!

This app is not worth the price at this time with limited products and user features.

I am allergic to wheat and gluten and try to avoid MSG, this app has been a Life saver, and i do mean that, and its easy. All i do just scan the item and it shows me BIG RED Cross mark do not eat it, even if Gluten and MSG is listed under a different names it just knows. This app is AWESOME!!

The update really improved the app. 5 stars forsure.

this app is very useful for catching mistakes made when reading labels, as well as flag ingredients that should be avoided. the option to add product is innovative itself, just snap three pictures and you are helping others to be healthier. must have for allergy sufferers or anyone trying to avoid certain ingredients. thank you

Works good, but needs beef / gelatin profile. It would be nice if you could add your own ingredients to flag.

Almost nothing is in their database when I try to scan in... They need to update otherwise this app is useless. All the healthy food is missing.

This app clearly helps me with eating healthier.. also it can 1. Detect GMO and NonGmo in food 2. Avoid food allergies like Gluten and MSG 3. I love the fact that shows me the reason why I should avoid the food product and turns the bad ingredients to Red 4. its easy to follow, I only eat food that app gives me the app’s Green check mark Its like having 4 apps all in one app and for the price of one app.

This app has been so helpful while grocery shopping! Ive learned so much and have loved finding out whats in my food! I highly recommend this for everyone to use.

The idea is great. And its fantastic for the items listed, but approx 65% of what I scan is not listed. Pretty disappointing for an app I had to pay for.

This app has not pulled up any of the foods I have scanned yet. It asks you to help you build the database by sending them photos of the product, ingredients, and nutrition info. I did that, and over 2 weeks later Im still waiting for the foods to be uploaded. Dont waste your time here, safe eats is free and better.

I was so excited when downloading it to find out that the app can not find any foods I scan. Waste of money! Smh
